Nazareth's NAfME Chapter at a Glance
The National Association for Music Education (NAfME) is an organization dedicated to music education by providing resources, research, and advocacy at national, state, and local levels. Our chapter is a part of the Collegiate branch of NAfME. We work towards advocating for music education, learning more about the field, and bringing music to others through community involvement at the collegiate level. Additionally, we attend conferences, host events, and coordinate fundraisers for the Nazareth College Music Department.

Our chapter promotes education and advocacy through our various events each year. From attending conferences and workshops, to organizing events across the Nazareth College music department, our chapter works to advocate and learn more about the field of music education through involvement.
Community Involvement
Doing What's Needed
Community involvement is one of our key areas of focus here at Nazareth College's NAfME Chapter, and a source of much success. Partnering with local Tri-M chapters, organizing a Practice-A-Thon fundraiser annually, and volunteering at Story-Time Band Events are just a few ways our chapter gets involved in the community.
